The fate of Mozilla is sad, I know one day they will announce a move to chromium.
why the fuck would they kill the thing that makes them money? Do you even understand what you are implying here??
There is, I just saw a post trying to demonize Mozilla simply because they had a few job listings for AI and Ad managers and the take away in the post itself was like “I see they have fully pointed the ship towards a future of AI and Ads”, like are you serious??? A few job listings is enough to paint the entire future of the company lol
FIFTY?!
Reddit didn’t seem to be missing this puzzle piece to the extent that Lemmy is.
With this comment it’s clear that you are lamenting userbase count, and thus “Lemmy” (there is no singular Lemmy) isn’t meeting the content expectations you built with reddit due to this far lower user count.
Be the change you want to see, set up an instance and craft it to this concept you’re after. If not, Mastodon exists as the comment you replied to mentioned.
Why is Lemmy not a place for thoughts and observations, rather than just links, questions, and memes?
First off, Lemmy isn’t “a place”, each instance is unique in their own way. You are quite welcome to set up an instance around this concept, it’s not hard.
shrinkflation
nah it’s just corporate greed. Calling this ‘shrinkflation’ gives these greedy price gougers some form of excuse by linking it to inflation even though they’re doing this to us simply because they can.
dealbreaker
are you fucking kidding me?? TEN MB IN 20 FUCKING 24.
Discord is such fuckin TRASH
if anyone is complaining about this from the USA
Not one single comment on this post has said anything about how America does not have this issue, or America at all for that matter. In fact, the only comments that are about a country other than china (you know… the country the fucking article is about) mentions how Australia’s border/customs do the same thing.
Do you realize we are allowed to discuss and criticize things around the world whether or not America is guilty of something similar right? Is it really necessary to immediately without any prompting regurgitate an ‘AMERICA DOES IT TOO!!!’ comment on any article with negative sentiment regarding a non-American power?
Exactly, was looking for this exact comment,
So many children are just learning about politics and don’t yet understand that things normally don’t just happen when a president doesn’t abuse executive orders
This could have been an internet search engine job, literally just type “define cognitive dissonance” and it will be explained. Why do we need an entire post for this??
